You will receive a phone call or a postcard specifying your day of pickup. On that day, have your items boxed or bagged, and place them curbside by 8am. You must mark your items PVA so the drivers will be able to easily identify your pickup. All items must be in good, working, and reusable condition, with the driver reserving the right to refuse any items that do not meet these criteria. A "Thank You for Donating" note will be placed on your door confirming your pickup. You may then go online to pvapickupservice.com to download a receipt, or call 402-733-4328 to have one mailed to you.
To schedule a pickup on a day that is different from the date specified for your area, please call 402-733-4328, or go online to pvapickupservice.com. Please be ready to provide your phone number, address, email address, and a list of items you wish to donate.
We accept clothing, shoes, furniture, and household items. All items must be in good, working, and reusable condition. Click on the following link for a complete list of items we do and do not accept. What Items We Accept.
Paralyzed Veterans of America sells your donated household goods to private companies by annual bid. The resulting revenue is used to fund our important programs and services that benefit severely injured veterans and their families.
All collected donations (in bulk, sight unseen) are sold to thrift, consignment, and/or resale operators.

During times of inclement weather, pick-up service may be delayed or cancelled for that day. We strive to ensure our drivers' safety and appreciate your understanding during these potential delays. If your pick-up has been affected by inclement weather, it will be rescheduled for the following day, or Monday if your pickup was scheduled for Friday. If you have any questions, please contact us.
It is difficult to give an approximate time for the driver to pick up your donation because their stop times and workload varies throughout the day. Weather, as well as traffic conditions, will dictate dictates how quickly and safely a driver can complete his scheduled stops for the day.
If you have items in your home that you cannot place curbside or in your driveway, please call (402)733-4328. You will be asked to sign a waiver allowing our drivers to come into your home. The home owner must be present at all times, and items for donation must be located on the main floor.
If your pickup is missed, please reaffirm that your items are marked PVA and in a location visible to the drivers, then call us at 402-733-4328. We will send a driver to your location that day or the next day. If you need to cancel or reschedule your pickup, please call us and give us a date more convenient to your schedule.
